I just love Denver in the springtime! Marco and I were so excited when Jonnia and James asked to do their engagement session in both Rino (for the city) and Golden (for the mountains.) These two are both so warm, fun, and just a joy to be around. We also LOVED that we got to spend time with their sweet Basset Hounds, Ruby and Penny. Rocky Mountain National Park is one of the most beautiful spots for an engagement session! We started off at Bear Lake and made our way down to the entrance of the park, stopping along the road at so many unique spots. It was 75 degrees in Denver that day, making us so surprised to see so much snow still left at Bear Lake! Alima and David were troopers, climbing through the snow to get some really epic shots. We just loved our day with them and are so excited for their wedding this summer in Lyons, Colorado!
We are so excited to share Emily and Paul’s beautiful wedding with you! When Emily and I first met for coffee, we hit it off right away! She is so much fun to be around and I loved hearing about her relationship with Paul and all the great things they had planned for their wedding. Emily and Paul’s wedding day started off with hair and makeup for the ladies at the gorgeous Hotel Boulderado. Their ceremony took place at First Presbyterian Church in Boulder and the reception at Lionsgate Event Center in Lafayette. We loved getting to celebrate them and document their magical day. This Mount Falcon Park engagement session is all things cozy and beautiful! Marco and I can't say enough great things about Amy and Kevin. Since we met them a few months ago, our worlds have overlapped time and time again and we've become fast friends with them! They are both so kind, fun, and excited to get married. We are loving getting to be a part of this season in their lives. While they had planned for a spring engagement session, we had colder weather that created a gorgeous and cozy fog that really made their engagement session unique and romantic! We love their photos and are so excited to share them.
We are so thankful that we still get to shoot in both Colorado and Florida! It's amazing to me how we are able to have the world's best couples across both states. Gabriella and Brandon are two of the sweetest and most kind people. Gabriella was in my sorority (Pi Beta Phi!) at UCF but we hadn't connected until they contacted us last year about shooting their wedding! One thing that was important to Gabriella and Brandon was that they have their engagement session in South Florida on the beach that they met back in high school. We LOVE when our couples incorporate personal touches like this so we jumped at the chance to make it work!
