San Diego Engagement Session // Allee + Cody

This is such a special blog to get to share! Allee is one of my very best friends and we’ve walked through a whole lot of life together - in Florida, Colorado, and even India. Allee is all things fun, caring, compassionate, and talented. She is one of the easiest people on the planet to love! Marco and I were so happy when Allee and Cody started dating. Cody is such a good balance for Allee and he has such a genuine heart and a steady, easy-going personality and we’ve loved growing our friendship with him over the past few years. I was overjoyed when they asked Marco and I to be their wedding photographers! There’s always an extra level of sweetness when you get to document a close friend’s wedding day.

For their engagement session, Allee and Cody wanted to do something a little different! They decided their dream was to fly us all out to San Diego where we could explore the beach, oceanside cliffs, and the city. We are so happy with how their engagement session turned out and you may see a few familiar faces in this blog too!

Sanctuary Wedding // MaryAnna + Tyler

Marco and I are so excited to share this beautiful wedding! MaryAnna and Tyler are two of the sweetest people with one of the most unique love stories. Marco and I get to hear a lot of “How We Met” stories but this one was a first for us! MaryAnna and Tyler met in the laundry room on an Alaskan Cruise that they were both on with their families! Talk about an amazing start to a really awesome relationship. We were so excited when they asked us to be a part of their wedding. The weather in April is always a bit unpredictable so we didn’t know if they would have a sunny day or if they would even get some snow. In true Colorado-fashion, they got a little bit of both! It was truly such a beautiful and fun wedding day and we loved getting to celebrate them. Enjoy these highlights from their wedding at Sanctuary in Sedalia, Colorado.

Lookout Mountain Engagement // Laura + Elijah

Spring has come to Colorado! Laura and Elijah have been planning their wedding from afar so we were SO happy we could see them when they came to town to get some wedding tasks accomplished! We had a great afternoon with them in Golden for their engagement session. These two are crazy in love and were such a blast to photograph. Marco and I are SO excited to celebrate Independence Day with them at their wedding this summer! Enjoy these highlights from their beautiful session.

Miami, Florida Wedding // Gabriella + Brandon

Marco and I kicked off 2019 with one of our favorite weddings ever! Gabriella and Brandon are two of the most wonderful people and we honestly just cannot say enough great things about them. They are both so kind, ambitious, loving, creative, and just fun to be around. They trusted us completely and were so excited for us to try out some unique photo techniques with them. As full-time photographers with over 100 weddings under our belts, we’ve experienced a lot of different weather dynamics. When we woke up and saw that there was steady rain on the forecast that morning, we knew this meant we may have to get extra creative as we knew how important it was to Gabriella and Brandon to capture the vast beauty of The Deering Estate. Amazingly, the rain held off and we were able to do all of Gabriella and Brandon’s photos outside without having to run between rain clouds! We even got some pretty epic rain-drizzle shots at the end of the night by their vintage getaway car. We are so excited to share this beautiful wedding with you!

City and Mountain Engagement // Brian + Andrea

We are so excited to share this very diverse and beautiful city and mountain engagement! Andrea and Brian are both so joyful, fun, and adventurous and Marco and I are so happy we get to be a part of their wedding in September. They are both from Colorado and have so much love for the city of Denver so we knew it was important to capture some of the city for their engagement session! We then headed over to Lost Gulch Lookout for some pretty epic mountain photos. We were met with some powerful winds but Andrea and Brian were total troopers, happy to take on the elements!
