I got the opportunity to shoot a Harry Potter inspired wedding on Halloween! As an avid HP reader growing up, I knew this would be an extra fun way to spend my Halloween. James and Deidre have a sweet story that revolves around Cracker Barrel, Harry Potter (of course), and so much love!

We kicked off their engagement session at Cracker Barrel earlier this year. Cracker Barrel is where James and Deidre had their first date, got engaged, and ate breakfast the day of their wedding. I love that they have their own unique traditions!

From the moment we arrived the morning of their wedding, we knew that James and Deidre were blessed with so many friends who love and support them. We had a gorgeous day waiting for us at the Nocatee Center in Ponte Vedra Beach!

James and Deidre put so much work into making fun details for their wedding. From their Harry Potter inspired invitations, to the guests each being assigned a “House” on their name cards, to a Butterbeer Station, and so much more. At one point during the ceremony, the fog machines started and Thriller played! It was like a scene straight out of a movie — so awesome.
