Park Engagement | Abby & Josh

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — our couples this year are all SO wonderful! I feel very blessed to have such great clients who become my friends leading up to their wedding date.

When I first talked with Josh and Abby, I knew that we would all get along so well! They were on spring break and used the week for planning their wedding, plus our fun shoot at Greenwood Urban Wetlands. It was no surprise that their engagement session was a complete blast. I think we laughed the entire time! They are such fun people and it’s obvious they love being around each other.  Marco and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this fall!

Hillside Engagement | Chantal & Tyler

From my first interactions with Chantal via email, I could tell she was so sweet and someone with whom I could be great friends. Chantal and Tyler are the real deal! They are so friendly and kind, and it’s such an honor to work with them. Chantal and I have a great deal in common, from days spent at Rosen College at University of Central Florida to our passion for working with ministries overseas.

I love that Chantal and Tyler have a vision for their photography — it makes it really fun to get to bring it to life. I also love how much they trust me! We met in Clermont, Florida at Lake Louisa State Park just before sunset for a romantic, hillside engagement shoot. Clermont is one of the few places in Florida with lots of rolling hills. From the champagne popping to some major off-roading, I had such a blast on this shoot.

Marco and I can’t wait to be a part of Chantal’s and Tyler’s wedding this July and watch these two tie the knot!

Unique Barn Wedding | Brittany & Clark

Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Clark and Brittany. I’ve seen how sweet and talented they are, how great they are together, and how they compliment each other. They are a power couple, for sure! We did their engagement session in gorgeous St. Augustine last fall, as a nod to their wedding location. While their actual ceremony and reception took place in Palm Coast at Florida Agricultural Museum, the bridal party got ready just to the north, at the Casa Monica hotel in downtown St. Augustine.

Clark and Brittany’s wedding can best be described as thoughtful, unique, intentional, gorgeous, and so wonderfully them. Brittany is the founder of an awesome company called Good Company Co. and she is an expert at designing unique and beautiful items. So it was no surprise that Brittany decided to make her own wedding dress and go a bit against the current. As you’ll see, her dress is a gorgeous gold and black, complete with a beautiful veil. I love that Brittany knew what she wanted and went for it and she looked absolutely amazing.

Clark and Brittany surprised their guests with a slushee machine, bonfire, donuts, and… a mariachi band! Right when the guests had all been seated, a mariachi band pulled up on a tractor. Everyone was blown away and it immediately started the party! The love for this couple was so clear.

Brittany and Clark, thank you so much for having Marco and me be a part of your wedding! We have loved getting to know you both and are so excited for you to take on the world together as a married couple. We know you’ll do great things!

The White Room Wedding | Elise & Ryan

You may remember Ryan and Elise from their epic State Park engagement session. Fast forward a few months and their wedding is already here! We had such a great time being a part of their day and getting to know their friends and family.

There’s something so much fun about having an entire bridal party take over a house. Elise and her bridesmaids had a rental home just down the road from the house where Ryan and his groomsmen were staying. Both homes were right in the heart of gorgeous St. Augustine. With their wedding taking place at The White Room, it was a great opportunity to explore more of America’s Oldest City. For nearly all of our group shots, we ran up and down alleys of the city and stumbled upon gorgeous and interesting scenery at every turn. There were also a few times when we had to dodge a St. Augustine tour trolley!

Ryan and Elise’s wedding was quite elegant and had many intentional details throughout. Following their sweet ceremony, the guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and a lovely dinner, followed by toasts from Elise’s dad, Vivian, their Maid of Honor, and James, their Best Man. One of my favorite parts of a wedding is learning more about the couple through their toasts. From the time we first meet a couple until their wedding, we grow from acquaintances to two of their biggest cheerleaders. We are passionate about making the wedding experience enjoyable however we can! We absolutely love our couples and this makes hearing toasts from their closest friends so special. The words shared about Elise and Ryan were so sweet as well as hilarious. They are both genuine, laid back, and incredibly kind, and it’s clear why they have so many friends who love them.

Elise and Ryan, thank you for having Marco and me be a part of your wedding. We are so excited for you both and know that you two will bless so many as a couple. Congratulations!

St. Pete Engagement | Emily & Trevor

Marco and I are blessed to meet couples who live all over Florida, Colorado, and other parts of the country. Because of that, we get the opportunity to explore so many new areas. We’re constantly pinching ourselves because of all the gorgeous places our job takes us. St. Petersburg, Florida is such a great city, and it was so much fun to meet Emily and Trevor downtown and head to one of their favorite beaches. They’re the type of people you can instantly feel comfortable around. We got to hear their story and chat about their exciting wedding plans. We can’t wait to be a part of their wedding this May!
