The Historic Thomas Center Wedding | Lauren & Kevin

I knew when I first set foot in Lauren’s hotel room that I was in for a really fun day! I wasn’t surprised though, as every interaction I’ve had with Lauren, from the engagement session to working on her and her sweet mom on the timeline beforehand, has been so fun and full of laughs. And Lauren’s bridesmaids are all so easy-going, supportive, and pretty much ridiculously hilarious.

Lauren and Kevin had a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine. Their friends and family watched them become husband and wife beneath a gorgeous tree at The Thomas Center in Gainesville.

One of the many reasons I love being a part of weddings is that I get to learn more about the couple from their friends. Lauren and Kevin are true friends to so many and can always be counted on to bring the party to the dance floor. And I literally mean to the dance floor! I don’t think I’ve ever seen more insanely amazing dance moves at a wedding! It felt like every guest was committed to giving it their all. I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking.

Lauren and Kevin, you two are so kind and welcoming, and I’m so happy Marco and I were able to be a part of your big day. We wish you all the happiness in the world!

Orlando Wedding | Jared & Kara

Fall is in the air! I got to kick off this wonderful season with Kara & Jared’s wedding at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. I could write blog upon blog about how sweet, easy-going, and kind this wonderful couple is.

Kara and her bridesmaids spent a relaxing morning at the Doubletree near downtown Orlando. Kara is such a great planner and her skill and creativity definitely shined through the entire day. Kara and Jared chose to do a First Look before the ceremony so they could have a moment alone together. It was the sweetest. Jared gave Kara a letter and we got a chance to capture some special shots before the rest of the day got going. Kara and her girls had the dreamiest of bouquets from Velvet & Twine.

From the sweet ring bearer and flower girl to the vows exchanged, the ceremony was gorgeous and represented Jared and Kara wonderfully well. After an evening of awesome food, great dancing, and a super fun photobooth, Kara and Jared headed off with a sparkler exit!

Kara and Jared, thank you so much for letting Marco and I be a part of your wedding! We are so excited for you both to walk through life as husband and wife.

Fall Engagement Session | Kevin & Kayla

I’m blessed with the most amazing brides! I feel so lucky to get to work with such incredible couples. Kayla and I were in the same sorority at UCF. She was a year above me but I always looked up to her and the way she stood out as a leader in our chapter, Pi Beta Phi. I’ve loved getting to work with her during this really special time in her life. Getting to know Kevin has been so great and it’s sweet to see how supportive he is of Kayla during this season of planning. We did their engagement session at Greenwood Urban Wetlands -- a little gem of a place.  I can’t wait for their wedding next October in St. Augustine!

College Campus Engagement | Sam & Nick

Engagement sessions aren't always guaranteed perfect weather. Overall, my couples and I have been pretty lucky this year with sunny afternoons for their shoots! The same held true for Sam and Nick's engagement shoot at Rollins College last week. We had a gorgeous day!  I think what I love most about these two is that they make the other light up. I love seeing how much Nick completely adores Sam. They are both very smart, relaxed, kind, and... ready to get married! Capturing the sweet moments they share is one of my favorite parts of my job.
